Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. What we collect
This site does not collect personally identifying information. There is no registration, no sign-in, and no form submission.
To serve a page, the following technical data is unavoidably processed:
- Request data — IP address, browser User-Agent, requested path, timestamp and referring page. Every HTTP server receives this.
- How we handle it — it stays in memory and in the hosting platform's transport logs. The application code does not persist it, index it, or build profiles from it.
- Hosting — the site runs on Cloudflare, whose edge network records basic access logs under its own policy. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
2. Cookies, local storage and analytics
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Search terms and filters live in page memory only and disappear on reload.
For aggregate traffic figures we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint or identify individual visitors, and does not track you across other websites. It records page views, referrers, country and device class in aggregate. Because it sets no cookie and stores no identifier on your device, no consent banner is required for it under the ePrivacy Directive. Details are in the Cloudflare Web Analytics privacy notice.
3. Third-party content and links
Headlines and links shown here come from third parties — Google Trends, Baidu, Wikipedia and Bing News. That content is retrieved by our server and then rendered to you; your browser never connects to those sources directly, so they cannot learn about your visit through this site.
When you click through to a headline or a linked article, you leave this site and the destination's own privacy policy and tracking apply. That is inherent to outbound links; please judge the destination before continuing.
4. Data retention
- Cached topic data is held on the server and overwritten as it refreshes; it is not archived long-term;
- We store no visitor identifiers, so there is no user record to retain or delete;
- Hosting platform logs are retained according to that platform's own policy.
5. Your rights
Under frameworks such as the GDPR or CCPA you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data. Because this site keeps no personal data profiles, there is normally no record to retrieve or erase. If you still wish to exercise a right or ask a question, write to privacy@trends-world.example and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Children
The site is aimed at a general audience, is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect information from them.
7. International visitors
The site is served through a global CDN, so your request may be handled by a node outside your country. Since no personal data is transmitted, that processing is limited to the technical steps needed to deliver the page.
8. Changes to this policy
If analytics, advertising or comments are ever added, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top changed. Where cookies or personalised ads are involved, a consent mechanism will be presented before those scripts load.
